Add Volume and Fill Lines with Dermal Fillers
As we age, the volume in the face naturally depletes. As a result, the face starts to sag and shadows and lines form.
Dermal fillers are injected into the different layers of the face to fill lines and shadows and contour the overlying shape of the skin.
What areas can be treated with dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are used to replace volume lost with the ageing process or create enhancement to the contours of the face. They can be injected into most places of the face including lips, cheeks, under the eyes, into frown lines, smile lines and shadows around the mouth. We have a range of different products and brands available.
How long will the treatment take?
All of the dermal fillers that we offer are able to be performed as a ‘lunchtime procedure’. This means the majority of our fillers will rarely require much 'down time' and all are performed in the clinic. Depending on the procedure, a local or topical anaesthetic may be used.
Are there any reasons why I can’t have dermal fillers?
As with most cosmetic procedures, women who are currently pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive are not suitable candidates. People with a known sensitivity to the active ingredients in the desired filler are not suitable, nor are people with certain medical conditions. Your past and present medical history, as well as your past cosmetic history, will be assessed by a doctor to determine your suitability.
