BOOKINGS & DEPOSITS

New clients are requested to pay a $50-$100 deposit for indicated practitioners, which will be deducted off the cost of your treatment, or refunded if treatment is deemed inappropriate by the practitioner/prescribing doctor.

If you are a No Show or cancel within 24 hours without a valid reason, the deposit will be forfeited.

Until your deposit is paid, the appointment will only be held for 24 hours. 

This deposit can be paid:

- Over the phone with our customer service team via Credit Card

Terms and Conditions for Promotional IPL Hair Removal and IPL Skin Correction Services at Participating Renaissance Cosmetic Clinics

 

1. General Terms:

  • Eligibility: All clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive IPL treatments. 

  • Consultation: A consultation is required before any treatment. During this consultation, your suitability for IPL treatments will be assessed. If you are not deemed suitable, you will be advised accordingly.

  • Discounts & Offers: Any discounts or special offers provided are not to be combined with other discounts, offers, or promotions unless explicitly stated. The discounts may apply to individual treatments or to multi-treatment packages, as specified at the time of booking.

  • Availability: IPL treatments are available only at participating clinics. Currently these clinics include Renaissance Applecross, East Perth, Wanneroo, and Butler locations. Treatments are offered with selected practitioners and are subject to the availability of equipment and practitioners at each location. Check in-store with participating clinics for more details.

2. Multi-Service Package Terms:

  • Discounted Packages: Clients may purchase multi-service treatment packages that offer discounts compared to single-session prices. The prices for these packages are provided upfront and include a set number of treatments.

  • Package Validity: All multi-service packages are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified. Any remaining unused services after this period will expire.

  • No Refunds: All multi-service packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and are subject to management’s discretion.

  • Refund Calculation: If a refund is approved, it will be calculated by charging the full price for any services already rendered and deducting that from the amount paid. For example, if a client purchases a $500 package for four treatments (normally $175 each), and two treatments are used, the refund will be $500 minus $350 (for two treatments used), resulting in a refund of $150.

  • Refund Method: If a refund is issued, it may be provided as store credit, cash refund, or account credit at the discretion of management.

3. Missed or No-Show Appointments:

  • Missed Appointments: If you miss an appointment without giving at least 24 hours’ notice, the service will be deducted from your package, and no makeup session will be provided.

  • No-Show Policy: Clients who fail to attend their scheduled appointments without prior notice will forfeit the session(s) in their package.

  • Late Arrival: If you arrive late for your appointment, the treatment may be shortened or rescheduled based on availability. Late arrivals are not entitled to a refund or rebooking of the missed time.

4. Health and Safety:

  • Pre-Treatment Requirements: Clients are required to disclose any relevant health information during the consultation, including but not limited to pregnancy, current use of medications, skin conditions, or prior treatments that may affect the IPL treatment.

  • Side Effects and Risks: IPL treatments may cause temporary redness, swelling, or sensitivity. While these are typically mild, the clinic cannot guarantee that no side effects will occur. You will be advised on aftercare instructions to minimize risks.

  • Consumer Protection: If you believe that any part of our service or treatment is unsatisfactory or you have concerns, please contact us immediately. We value feedback and will work to resolve issues in a professional manner. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant consumer protection authority in your state if the matter is not satisfactorily resolved.

5. Payment and Refunds:

  • Payment: Payment is required in full before the first treatment session of a multi-service package. Payment methods include credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other accepted forms.

  • Refunds: As stated, packages are non-refundable except under exceptional circumstances, as determined by management. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Australian consumer law. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the refund calculation method detailed above.

6. Consumer Protection & Complaints:

  • Complaint Handling: In the event of a complaint, please contact the management team at [Contact Information]. We will investigate any issue promptly and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

  • Statutory Rights: Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service is found to be faulty or not as described, we will provide a remedy, which may include a refund, replacement, or re-treatment.

7. Liability and Indemnity:

  • Liability: Renaissance Cosmetic Clinics will not be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from the use of IPL treatments unless due to gross negligence on the part of the clinic or its staff.

  • Indemnity: By booking treatments, you agree to indemnify Renaissance Cosmetic Clinics and its staff from any claims arising from your non-disclosure of medical conditions or failure to follow pre- and post-treatment instructions.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality:

  • Personal Information: We respect your privacy. Any personal information provided to us will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Australian privacy laws.

  • Confidentiality: All medical and treatment records are kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.

9. General Provisions:

  • Amendments to Terms: Renaissance Cosmetic Clinics reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients via email or through in-store notifications.

  • Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

By booking or purchasing an IPL promotion or package, you agree to these terms and conditions.

LOYALTY PROGRAM

The Loyalty Program at Renaissance Cosmetic Clinics is open to all clients, at the participating stores only.

The details of the program are:

- $100 voucher for every 1000 points accumulated ($1 per point).

- Voucher cannot be used before it is generated and must be used at a future visit.

- Voucher valid for 12 months (Loyalty Program vouchers are not included in the ACCC 3 year rule)

- Cannot be used on medi-aesthetic/regulated health services.

- Can be used on beauty, dermal therapy or body services that are not regulated health services. This includes but is not limited to LED, superficial peels, skin needling, facials, skincare.

- Vouchers traded for skin products less than the $100 will be voided for the entire amount. Eg. if an $80 serum is purchased, there will not be a remaining $20.
- $100 Vouchers cannot be combined or used with other offers/vouchers. 1 voucher per person, per visit.

- Vouchers are redeemable across all participating Renaissance clinics. Some clinics do not participate in the Loyalty Program.

SECRET HARBOUR BIRTHDAY SMS

- 10% off for one visit only for all Secret Harbour clients that received an SMS or email for the birthday promotion sent on 4th or 5th November 2024.

- Valid at Secret Harbour clinic only.

- Can be used on all services and products

​- Maximum discount $100

- Valid until May 2025

- Not to be combined with any other voucher or discount.

​- Clients must present the SMS or Email to receive the birthday discount.

SKIN CLUB T&C's

Renaissance Skin Club Membership Agreement

This Agreement is made and entered into by and between Renaissance Cosmetic Clinics, with a registered address of 1/22 Kearns Crescent, Applecross WA 6153 ("Company"), and the customer ("Customer").

WHEREAS, Company provides a monthly subscription service known as the "Renaissance Skin Club" offering curated skin treatments; and

WHEREAS, Customer desires to subscribe to the Renaissance Skin Club and pay the monthly subscription fee.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing premises and the mutual covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows:

1. Subscription and Membership:

1.1. Customer hereby subscribes to the Skin Club and agrees to pay a monthly subscription fee of $99.00 (AUD) (the "Subscription Fee"). 1.2. The Subscription Fee will be charged automatically on the date the Customer subscribes . 1.3. The Customer hereby authorizes Company to charge the Subscription Fee to the payment method provided by Customer on the day of signup and recurring on a monthly basis.

2. Deliverables and Benefits:

2.1. Upon successful subscription, Customer will receive an E-voucher at the chosen clinic to receive 1 x monthly LED session (30 mins, RRP $75) AND hydrodermabrasion (30 mins, RRP $110) OR Light Peel (RRP $110). Mix and match from month to month (if available at selected clinic). 2.2. The monthly treatments may vary depending on availability with prior notice and consent given to the Customer. 2.3. Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue the specific benefits offered to Renaissance Skin Club members at any time, with reasonable notice to Customer. 2.4 1 x monthly LED session (30 mins, RRP $75) AND hydrodermabrasion (30 mins, RRP $110) OR Light Peel (RRP $110, max. 6 in the 12 month term). Mix and match from month to month (if available at selected clinic). $99 a month (opt out after the next billing cycle) or $990 up front for 12 months worth of treatments.

Sign up for the upfront option ($990) before Christmas 2023 to receive a Renaissance night and day cream product for FREE (worth over $100).

Please note that all treatments involve risks that you will be consented for prior to treatment to participate in the Renaissance Skin Club (RSC). If you are found unsuitable to participate at your consultation, your payment will be refunded.

Clients must be using professional skincare during participation in the RSC to ensure skin is not damaged and results are optimised. Professional skincare must be used for at least 2 weeks prior to receiving a chemical peel to 'prep' the skin if the client is not currently using. A maximum of 6 peels per year can be given. The peels will either be alternated with hydrodermabrasion or divided into intervals.

Clients must attend the same clinic for all treatments unless conditions of the clinic don't allow eg. a nurse is away/unavailable. Participating clinics include Secret Harbour, Applecross, Dalkeith, East Perth and Wanneroo. 

3. Opt-Out and Termination:

3.1. Customer may opt-out of the Skin Club at any time after the next billing cycle. 3.2. To opt-out, Customer must provide written notice to Company at least 7 days before the next billing date. 3.3. In the event of Customer's opt-out or termination of this Agreement, Customer will not be charged any further Subscription Fees. 3.4. Company reserves the right to terminate this Agreement for any reason, with reasonable notice to Customer.

4. Payment and Fees:

4.1. All Subscription Fees are non-refundable. The up-front $990 option is non-refundable either. 4.2. In the event of insufficient funds or declined payment, Company may suspend Customer's access to the Renaissance Skin Club until payment is received in full. 4.3. Company reserves the right to adjust the Subscription Fee at any time, with reasonable notice to Customer.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability:

5.1. Company makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the effectiveness of the treatments included in the Renaissance Skin Club . 5.2. Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from Customer's use of the skincare products or treatment in the Renaissance Skin Club. 5.3. Customers will be consented and have their skin assessed prior to treatments. Customers agree to use the skincare products and have treatmetns at their own risk and to consult with a healthcare professional for any concerns. If the Customer is deemed unsuitable for the treatments offered in the Skin Club, a milder alternative will be offered that is suitable for all skintypes. If the Customer is unwell or experiencing a condition that makes them unsuitable for treatment during a billing cycle month, the clinic must be contacted no later than 7 days before the end of the month. The treatment can be stored as a treatment credit to be used only on the same treatment at a later stage. It may not be transferred to another customer.

6. Entire Agreement:

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.

7. Governing Law:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of WA.

8. Severability:

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By paying for this tretment the Customer agrees to all of the above.

 

MARKETTING CONSENT

By submitting forms on our website, you consent to receiving marketing communications from Renaissance Cosmetic Clinics about our services, promotions, and updates. You will have the option to opt out of these communications at any time. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.
